All Are Welcome!
We had a great visit with the youth from Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianola, IA.  They prepared a fantastic spaghetti dinner for our God's Closet community, helped Bob pack some Books for Prisoners, and had some great conversations about ministry and community.

This Week

Persistence in prayer evoked the admiration of Jesus and wins the attention of the Lord when Abraham intercedes for Sodom. The life of the baptized—to be rooted and built up in Christ Jesus the Lord—is to be rooted in prayer. God hears and answers prayer and so strengthens God’s own. “When I called, you answered me; you increased my strength within me.

We're expecting some hot and sticky weather this Sunday.  We'll meet in the small chapel, with air conditioning, for worship at 10:30.

We will walk over to the park shortly after worship (about 12:30) or you can meet the group there.

    Introducing our new MIC Students!
Malina and Samantha will be joining us for the 2016-2017 school year as Ministry in Context students.  This is a class that students at LSTC take and is an opportunity for students to engage in ministry in a congregational context. Malina and Samantha will be with us on a very part time basis, but you will get to know them on Sunday mornings and through their projects.  Click to read their bios!

    Bible Study!
