E-News

God's word is like rain that waters the earth and brings forth life. It is like the sower who scatters seed indiscriminately. Our lives are like seeds sown into the earth. From what appears to be little, dormant, or dead, God promises an abundant harvest. At the Lord's table all are fed with the bread of life, that we may bear fruit in Creation, striving for a world where all are able to eat.

Some sad news: many of you know Sonia who volunteers in God's Closet. Her daughter, Debra Escobedo, passed away on Monday after a month long struggle to recover after getting caught in a crossfire. Many of you remember Debra from worship, and from her work in God's Closet. PLEASE keep Debra, Sonia, Frank, and the whole family in your prayers during this difficult time. The wake will be this Tuesday, 3-9PM at Coletta Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be at First Trinity, Wednesday, at 10 am. If you can help contribute to the family for the cost of the funeral, please do!
Read about Debra and how to contribute on DNAinfo.
